Vienna — 23 December 2025 — eu news 24/7 Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging young people, parents and teachers through public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. A short report is available via a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
